Membership to HHOC, normally $75, includes homebuyer education classes. all Maui residents who are referred by a RAM member or staff can utilize HHOC’s services for just $10!*

Upon completion of the classes, a certificate is issued that is often required for various home loan programs. Other services that come with the HHOC lifetime membership include unlimited homeownership coaching and post-purchase services. This education and coaching help put you on the path to homeownership.

You have 2 choices for homebuyer education.

The first are live webinar classes offered in 5 segments. These classes are included in the membership that the REALTORS® Association of Maui will subsidize. We also offer an online self-paced education option that will cost an additional $18.38.

The other ala carte service you can opt for is a soft credit pull including FICO scores (See payment cart below for the cost of a single or joint credit report).

*Membership is offered for the “buying unit” which includes everyone that will be involved in applying for the home loan or is in the household (i.e. a spouse that won’t be involved in the loan application but will live in the home can be included as a co-client who attends the classes at no additional charge).

Each member of the buying unit will need to complete a form.

  • Every buying unit must have a PRIMARY CLIENT form.

  • If there are more members of your buying-unit (will be involved in your purchase or will participate in the classes, coaching sessions), they will nned to complete the CO-CLIENT form.
